Module 1, Session 5 (Catch Up)

 Session 5 (Catch Up)

I feel that I am in a good place in terms of research and I am trying to get more to grips with the learning cycle. Currently I have now finished a draft, but the way in which I work I want to be able to read and edit it many times with time to spare. But bear in mind, if you're reading this, this is Thursday of this week for me and I have had my touter session. Where as, on Monday I had only had the introduction written and then I felt more confident to write more after the one to one session with my tutor Charlotte. 

My ideal essay on the 4th of December - 

I will submit a proof read full version of my essay, It will have covers all three of my points international creative training, storytelling and the social structures of a performers life. I hope it will have taught me something that I can use actively day to day. 

Back-cycling my perfect essay- 

For my 6th November draft I would like to have shown clear ideas and have a fully written essay, I hope that I have edited it to my best ability time allowing. 

From this session I would like to look at what I have written and try and make sure I have encapsulated what has also been recommended, not just what I have to, as hearing the ideas of others has also given me food for thought. 

For my artefact I hope to make more sense of what is the, most helpful aspect to focus on. as of right now I know what it will be but I'm still working on how to convey the thinking behind it.

Module 3, week 4 Methodology

Module 2, session 2 (catch up) Literature Review

  literature review  1 - Pick and develop literature on your topic  - research the question you are trying to answer, Use key words to look up these topics. great if the reserch is pier reviewed and acedmic.  2 - Evaluate and select sources - read the intro, read the conclusion, what are the key concepts mentioned, what topic is the suture talking about. agreeing and disagreeing with opinions put across in the research.  What question or problem is the author addressing?
